About
Icons are one of the easiest ways to make our experiences more consistent. Ideally, the icon team ([email protected]) should be creating or reviewing every icon for every Adobe experience.
On this page you can search and download Spectrum icons for mockups, and get in touch with the icon team to request production icons.

FAQ
Why are these icons only for mockups and not for production?
There are different types of icons for different applications. Some applications work with inline CSS styles, others need PNG icons. The icon team also keeps track on what metaphors are being used throughout all applications to maintain consistency.
Where can I get production icons?
Please request production icons via [email protected]. Please send screenshots of your designs or your files for context. The team will check the icon sizes and the right usage of the metaphors, and provide you download links for the developers.
How long does this take?
This depends on your request and the amount of icons. Many Spectrum icons are already created and ready to go. However, if you have a lot of new features that need custom icons it may take longer. We recommend avoiding long turnaround times by involving us early on in projects. If you have any questions about any of this, please contact us, we’re happy to help.
Why is there an invisible square in the downloaded icons?
Each icon stands on a canvas to make sure it is well aligned and placed correctly.
What is the difference between workflow and UI icons?
Workflow Icons are iconic metaphors/symbols that users interact with to navigate and manipulate objects, they all have the same size.
UI Icons are atomic pieces (arrow, cross, etc.) that are part of the interface and are generally different sizes.
